Our children have the opportunity to collect for a various range of community organisations during their own time and at school.  These are some that we have been involved with this year.
 

2018

REAL Challenge for Willowbank

Thank you to everyone who supported our “Guess how many animal biscuits in the jar”. We raised $53.60 for Willowbank – thank you to everyone who had a guess. Sabrina, Sienna, Maddie, Amber, Savannah and Kayla

Woman's Refuge REAL Challenge collection

Thank you so much for everything people brought in for my collection for Aviva, Womans Refuge. The Waitākiri community is amazing! From Sasha.

Crazy Hair Day
Well done to Grace, Tia, Sarah, Selene and Kushba who supported the Child Cancer Foundation with their ‘Crazy Hair Day’.  The girls raised $612.80 which was amazing and the Child Cancer Foundation were thrilled with their generous donation

SPCA REAL Challenge
Lily, Lucy, Madi and Shyla baked goodies to sell at school and raised $172.50 for the the SPCA.
Reign, Ryan and Kiahla collected items the SPCA needed and took them to the SPCA to use for the animals in need.

City Mission Can Collection
The Student Council wanted to help the City Mission with their request for food for families in need this winter.  They held a mufti day, and children who wore mufti were asked to bring a can of food. Some families bought lots and the response was just fantastic. Thank you to all of our families for your continual support!  Well done Student Council!




Heartkids Canterbury
Tayla, Miley, Xanthe and Hayley raised $120 for Heartkids Canterbury by holding a “Guess how many lollie hearts in the jar”. The joint winners were thrilled with their prize.


North Beach Surf Life Saving Club
Matilda, Jack, Holly and Layla would like to thank everyone for their support at our REAL Challenge. We raised $200 from the sale of scrunchies and shell necklaces.  Thanks for the opportunity to raise money for North Beach Surf Life Saving Club. This year the money will be going to helping to purchase another paddle board.


Camp Quality
Michael, Cooper, Brooke and Ryan sold yummy muffins at school to raise funds for Camp Quality. We sold lots and lots and raised $300 for Camp Quality. Thank you to everyone who supported us!


SPCA REAL CHALLENGE COMMUNITY COLLECTION
